Product Digest #002: New chains, improved UX

Last month brought key enhancements across app UX, new chain support, and core infrastructure improvements.

June closed out the quarter with continued progress toward our mission: making it easier than ever to build secure, scalable onchain organizations. The month saw a wide range of updates across Aragon OSx, the Value Accrual Toolkit, and the Aragon App, pushing forward on user experience and unlocking new ecosystems through multichain expansion.

New Chains: Corn and Chiliz now available for Aragon OSx, Value Accrual Toolkit, and App

Our multichain journey has continued onward, with the launch of Aragon on two new networks over the past weeks: Corn and Chiliz. Corn, an EVM network built for Bitcoin-native DeFi (BTCFi), now supports the full Aragon stack, from our no-code app to the Value Accrual Toolkit, all powered by Aragon OSx. As Corn builds a modular ecosystem around sovereign finance and long-term coordination, Aragon provides the governance infrastructure to match: composable, transparent, and upgradeable. This integration empowers projects building on Corn to launch and govern their onchain organizations, all in alignment with Bitcoin’s ethos.

Similarly, Chiliz, the leading blockchain for sports and entertainment, is also now fully supported on the Aragon stack, enabling sports teams, leagues, and fan communities to launch onchain organizations, build incentive systems, and transparently govern themselves. This collaboration builds on Aragon's historic collaboration with FC Barcelona by bringing modular governance to the broader Chiliz sports ecosystem.

On Chiliz, teams can now create fan voting mechanisms, loyalty reward systems, and co-creation platforms using the same infrastructure trusted across the Aragon stack. It’s a major step toward bringing meaningful, transparent ownership to global sports communities.

The Aragon app: What’s new?

Streamlined experiences for optimized organizations

The Aragon app saw a number of UX improvements last month, including a redesigned proposals dashboard. Aragon's modular governance framework has allowed different kinds of decision making flows for different proposal types. The dashboard now has an overview tab that conveniently aggregates all types of proposals into an "All proposals" list, giving users a complete overview without needing to switch between tabs.

On the radar: What’s next?

veLocker support coming soon

Aragon's in-house veLocker is one of the main components of our Value Accrual Toolkit. It helps align incentives by rewarding locked token holders who are in it for the long run and have skin in the game. While we've been providing veLocker functionality to projects like Mode, Puffer, Bedrock, and others, we are now making it even more broadly accessible; we are bringing veLockers to Aragon's flagship app. Token holders will be able to lock directly from the members page of the app.

By being fully compatible with Aragon's modular multibody framework, any type of proposal, with any number of stages or governing bodies, will be able to use veLockers to determine token holder's voting power.

Wrapping Up

In June, we focused on expanding access, refining core infrastructure, and improving the building experience across every layer of the stack. With new chains live, simulations enabled, and UX upgrades in place, we’re continuing to make onchain operations more accessible, reliable, and scalable than ever.

Whether you’re launching a new onchain organization or evolving an existing one, there’s never been a better time to build with Aragon. Get started today.
